Chesterfield Berry Farm Strawberry School Tours May 2010

Our spring farm tour is the perfect opportunity to give children an educational experience on a real working farm. Spring tours are for children in grades Pre-K through 4th grade. Tours begin daily Monday through Friday on May 3rd through May 28th, weather permitting. The tours are offered between 9:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. The tour includes:

• A covered wagon hayride to and from the strawberry patch.
• Each person gets to pick 1 pound of berries. Container will be provided.
• A visit to the animal corral, Bunnyville, and the goat walk.
• Duck Races
• Toddler Play Area
• Straw Play Area
• Shelled Corn Play Area
• Picnic Area Available: Bring your lunch or snack and picnic at our place. Please do NOT bring canned drinks due to the bees.
• Toilet Facilities Available

COST: The cost of this tour is $8.00 per person. Parents accompanying children on the field trip must pay their admission through the school. Any parent that has not paid with the school will be charged a higher rate of $9.00 per person at the gate.

MINIMUM: There is a minimum number this year for this trip. There must be 12 children in your group. If you don’t have the minimum number of children required to qualify as a school tour, you must pay general admission plus the cost of the strawberries.

CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations within three days of your scheduled tour date and or no-shows will be billed at full price to your group. There will be no exceptions.
